Arrival

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha & Optional City Tour

Upon your arrival at either Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be met by our team and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to enjoy an Arusha city tour, featuring visits to the renowned Cultural Heritage art gallery, lively local markets, and the colorful Maasai Market – perfect for cultural immersion and souvenir shopping.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your exciting safari adventure kicks off today! After breakfast, you’ll be picked up from the lodge at 7:45 am. A two-hour drive takes you to Tarangire National Park, famous for its elephants and ancient baobab trees. From the open-roof vehicle, explore the park’s diverse landscapes, spotting wildlife such as elephants, lions, giraffes, and buffalo. Enjoy a picnic lunch with scenic views, followed by more game viewing. Later in the afternoon, head to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Main Destination: Tarangire National Park

Accommodation: Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge – Mid-range lodge located near Karatu (Town)

Day 3: Karatu to Central Serengeti

After breakfast, you’ll depart for the Central Serengeti. The journey takes 4-5 hours, with opportunities to spot animals along the way. Stop briefly at the Ngorongoro viewpoint to admire the caldera (weather permitting). Along the way, visit a Maasai Village for a cultural experience. Enjoy a picnic lunch en route, and upon arrival, embark on an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti. Dinner and overnight will be at your luxury tented lodge.

Day 4: Central to Northern Serengeti

Following an early breakfast, embark on a morning game drive as you make your way to the northern Serengeti. Arrive at the Mara River to witness the Great Migration crossing. Spend the rest of the day observing this incredible natural phenomenon, along with other wildlife in the area. End the day with dinner and an overnight stay at a migrational camp.

Day 5: Full Day in Northern Serengeti

Start the day at sunrise with a full-day game drive in the northern Serengeti. Witness the iconic wildebeest migration and explore the breathtaking landscapes of this region. Keep an eye out for big cats, elephants, and other fascinating wildlife. After a full day of adventure, return to your camp for dinner and a restful night.

Day 6: Northern Serengeti to Ndutu-Ngorongoro

Begin your day with a sunrise safari in the northern Serengeti, followed by breakfast in a scenic picnic spot. Transfer to the central Serengeti for more game viewing. Continue your journey to the Ngorongoro Highlands, arriving in the evening for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

Main Destination: Ndutu (Southern Serengeti NP)

Accommodation: Masek Tented Lodge – Luxury tented camp located inside Ndutu (Southern Serengeti NP)

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater

Wake up early and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater with packed breakfast. Spend the morning exploring this UNESCO World Heritage site, home to an incredible array of wildlife, including the rare black rhino. After an unforgettable experience, make your way back to Arusha, arriving around 5:00 pm. Choose to be dropped off at either the Arusha or Kilimanjaro airport.

Main Destination: Ngorongoro Crater

Accommodation: No accommodation (End of tour)
