4-Day Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival in Arusha
Airport pickup and transfer to Kibo Palace Hotel in Arusha. Optional city tour visiting the Cultural Heritage art gallery, local markets, and the colourful Maasai Market.
Day 2
Arusha to Ndutu Plains
Drive to Ndutu in the southern Serengeti ecosystem, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. From December to March, thousands of wildebeest and zebra give birth daily on the short, nutrient-rich grasses. Full afternoon game drive. Overnight at Safari Haven Migration Camp.
Day 3
Full Day in Ndutu — Calving Season
Option to depart at sunrise or take a packed breakfast for a full day in the bush. Witness thousands of newborns and intense predator activity — lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. One of the most dramatic wildlife scenes on Earth. Return to camp after sunset.
Day 4
Ndutu to Ngorongoro Crater
Early 6:30am departure to the Ngorongoro Crater — the world's largest intact volcanic caldera. Five-hour game drive on the crater floor: elephants, buffaloes, hippos, black rhinos, lions, and flamingos. Return to Arusha in the evening.
