Best Time to Visit
Ngorongoro Crater is excellent year-round. The dry season (June–October) offers the clearest views and best wildlife density. The green season (November–May) brings fewer visitors, lower rates, and lush crater scenery. The morning descent at 6am is always the best time — beat the crowds and catch predators active at dawn.
