Materuni waterfall

You will drive to the slopes of Kilimanjaro, up to Materuni village. From there you will hike for about 30 minutes and pass by the local coffee farmers where you will get a chance to hear how local farmers grow coffee and process it till it’s sold.

Arusha National Park

Arusha National Park, located in Tanzania, is a gem at the foot of Mount Meru and a gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit. It offers diverse landscapes ranging from lush montane forests to rolling savannahs and volcanic peaks. The park is renowned for its breathtaking scenery, abundant wildlife including giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and a variety of bird species. Visitors can enjoy activities such as game drives, walking safaris, and hiking to the summit of Mount Meru, providing a memorable adventure in Tanzania’s natural beauty.

Itinerary

Morning after the breakfast you will start your day safari from Moshi/Arusha at 8:00 am sharp for the hour’s drive to Arusha National Park. Once you arrive, you’ll stretch your legs on an out-of-this-world walking safari, accompanied by a ranger who will guide you through rainforest up to a sparkling waterfall where you’ll be able to spot black and white colobus monkeys going about their day. After a tasty lunch you’ll hop in the Land Cruiser for a game drive that will take you through a wider scope of the park, including the Lakes of Momella and the Ngurduto Crater, and you’ll most likely spot buffalo, waterbuck, giraffe, warthogs, zebra and gazelle as well as a host of different bird species. If you’re lucky you’ll catch a glimpse of the shy leopard or elephant. Don’t forget your camera! After the drive, you’ll be driven back to Moshi/Arusha.

Lake Manyara park

This 1-day African safari and tour provide you with an opportunity to visit Lake Manyara National Park. This tour will be very enjoyable but yet a highlight of African wildlife adventure which will bring you to plan for more days next time. The entrance gate lies 1.5 hours (126km/80 miles) west of Arusha along a newly surfaced road.

Itinerary

After breakfast you will meet our professional tour guide/driver, who will deliver a short safari briefing, After briefing you will depart for Lake Manyara National Park with packed lunch, We will travel through the agricultural and fresh produce market town of Mto Wa Mbu, which is situated next to the entrance of the Lake Manyara National Park. The town is a souvenir hunters paradise, harboring thousands souvenir salesmen – ready to pounce at your slightest invitation. Upon your arrival at Lake Manyara, you will be welcomed by the Great Rift Valley Escarpment view and fun makers’ baboon in large groups at the entrance. The Lake Manyara National Park is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located African wildlife areas, consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park) at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. The park’s varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of Africa’s densely populated African elephants herds, Lake Manyara’s famous tree-climbing lions, as well as large flocks of flamingos, attracted by the algae in the lake. We will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park and do two exciting morning and afternoon game drives, in search of the tree-climbing lions. Late afternoon we depart for Arusha/Moshi from Lake Manyara where we will end our safari adventure. You will be taken to your hotel, which ends our tour packages services.

Tarangire National Park

The Tarangire National Park will show you the rich diversity of life that still abounds, even during the dry season. Tarangire National park is very famous for African elephants and be considered as home of elephants and baobab trees. When visiting Tarangire national park you have chance to witness different animals like zebra, elephants, giraffe, lions, gazelles and many, also trees like baobab and accacia trees are available.

Itinerary

After breakfast you will be met by our tour guide/driver, who will deliver a short safari briefing. Then you will depart to Tarangire National Park with picnic lunch. Tarangire derived its name from the Tarangire River which crosses along the center of the park and which provides permanent water for the wildlife and birdlife of the park round the year. It is here where a large group of different species of animal concentrate during the dry season and the best place to take photographs.

Its natural vegetation mainly consists of Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. The Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. Also it is in Tarangire by chance you can see the tree climbing African pythons.

Tarangire National Park accommodate migratory and resident birdlife and believed to be a paradise of birdwatchers as more than 350 different species of birds have been recorded to-date. Other wildlife that Tarangire accommodates includes the rare impalas, giraffes, zebras, lions, leopards, Oryx and different types of gazelles. You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park followed by a short afternoon game drive, along the Tarangire River. Late afternoon you will depart for Arusha Town or airport depends on your itinerary.

Marangu Cultural Tour

The origin of name Marangu comes from the local Chagga word meaning ‘spring water’ and the village itself is located in the foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro, about 40km from Moshi town. This one-day trip tour takes you in various natural and cultural sites around Marangu.

Itinerary

Our guide will pick you up in the morning after breakfast at your hotel in Moshi and drive about one hour towards Marangu village. During your Marangu Cultural tour you will be able to do different activities like waterfalls tour, Chagga caves, visit local market, banana and coffee tour.

Waterfalls – Make a splash in the mountain water of Kilimanjaro and enjoy stunning views of the surrounding valleys.

Chagga Museum – The Chagga culture and history can be explored by visiting the museum. There are several exhibitions including a reconstructed thatched Chagga house.

Underground Chagga Tunnels – These were used by the Chagga people to hide themselves from the enemies during clan wars.

Colourful Local Markets – Marangu is the largest market for the sale of bananas in the country and attracts buyers from all over Tanzania.

Coffee and Banana Farms – Visit coffee farms and a local home where you can enjoy local dishes and learn the traditional process of preparing coffee from bean to cup.

Local Bar – Drop in to one of the local Chagga bars and drink the traditional “mbege” a local brew made from millet and banana wine.

Ngorongoro crater

Other than being the biggest intact (unbroken) volcanic caldera on Earth, the Ngorongoro Crater is also a natural sanctuary for some of the densest populations of large mammals in Africa. Due to its enclosed nature, the Ngorongoro Crater has effectively formed its own ecosystem.
